Terrell Owens kids, or T.O. for short, has come out with his own cereal, courtesy of PLB sports. It’s apparently only being sold in Buffalo (because of course he’s now in the Buffalo Bills) and it is selling out, fast. Even though Terrell Owens is not married, he does have two kids, which he aggressively makes sure he keeps them out of the public eye, and understandably so. Public life is very hectic and high-stress, and children just simply cannot understand what is going on around them and what people do to them, so it is best to leave them out of the public eye so they can lead normal lives.
Terrell Owens is very ambitious, and since he is a daddy, he understands the value of having a family so everything he does and his ambitions is to promote the well being of other fellow families and of course, his children. Terrell has his own clothing or fashion line, and if this sellout of cereal continues, soon a food business, specifically healthy low-fat cereal food. You may think how little money cereal generates but at a retail price of 3 or 4 dollars per box, times 10 million sales in 1 week (that’s about how fast this is flying off shelves, and this is a rough estimate because demand is too strong and supply too low), that’s 30 to 40 million dollars gross. Not bad for a breakfast cereal with a giant guy smiling and spinning a football (well holding it in his right arm). In an interview with PLB sports (the producer and owners of the cereal), CEO Ty Ballou states production is being ramped up to meet demand, he told a major media outlit. When you think about others, magical stuff happens, and for Terrell Owens kids, well, they have a rich, loving daddy who makes what appears to be great cereal.

This is a quick recap of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers first pre-season game of the year against the Tennessee Titans playing at their stadium. The first series of the game was the nothing impressive with the new Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense on the field as Luke McCown threw two incomplete passes along with a rush for a couple of yards leading to a 3 and out with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers first possession of the game against the Tennessee Titans.

With the 2009 NFL Football pre-season in full swing, the annual Fantasy Football team owners are gearing up for their new season’s draft. To this end each team owner will be putting together their own fantasy football cheat sheet 2009. What this sheet will do it to identify which players are the best players at each position so that when the draft is in full swing, they can keep track of who has been drafted and who remains to be selected. Here’s how you can win your next fantasy league trophy
Every fantasy football league will have their own scoring rules so any source that promises you that a particular player is always going to to be selected at a particular point in the draft is not going to be completely accurate. For instance, a league that gives out points for each reception will find running backs that catch alot of passes valued more than running backs who don’t. Similarly, there are wide receivers who catch alot of passes each game, but don’t produce as many yards as the wide receiver who catches 3 balls all game but ends up with 120 yards and 2 touchdowns. So establishing the unique rules of your league is the first step to creating your fantasy football cheat sheet 2009 .
The second step is to establish a ranking for each player at each position. You need to rely on historical data for the player and also any changes to the player’s team. So a wide eceiver that has a new rookie quarterback will not necessarily do as well as they did last year. In that case, you need to take last year’s production and discount it somewhat. Similarly, if your team just added a stud wide receiver, you might want to increase the predicted stats of your quarterback.
The next step in creating your cheat sheet is to put it all down on paper. Personally I use Microsoft Excel to put all the information in so I can see it all at a moment’s notice. I put all of the positions on separate worksheets in the spreadsheet and label them by position. Then I add an overall worksheet so I can who the obvious choice might be relative to the other positions. I then establish “tiers” at each position so I can decide when the production level drops off alot.
So how should you use your fantasy football cheat sheet 2009 ? This varies from league to league and person to person but the general rule of thumb is that running backs are the most valuable, followed by quarterbacks. The next position of value is wide receiver. After this it all depends upon your league rules but in most general leagues it is followed by tight end, team defense and then the place kicker.
The overall sheet is the best way to keep track of how the draft is going. If you have only picked 1 runnng back (most leagues start 2 so you should try to get 2 stud running backs early) and all the top tier running backs are gone, but a top tier quarteback is still available, then pick up the quarterback if you need one. This saves you from always chasing the 2nd or 3rd best at a position rather than getting the best wide receiver or quarterback. Players typically face this dilemma at the end of the first round. The first 5 or 7 picks are running backs and that exhausts the tp tier running backs. You then must decide if you go running back or draft the best wide receiver or quarterback. Your best bet here is to go non-running back and get the #1 at the other position and then when the draft snakes back to you, pick up the 2nd tier running back, If you draft this way, you will ensure that you do well during the season.
Remember, championships are won on draft day.

It’s Super Bowl time (not quite yet) and everybody is trying to get their hands on the fantasy football cheat sheet 2009 as quickly as possible! It’s that time of year again to be thinking about Matt Baker, Roscoe Parrish, Justin Jenkins, Anthony Kimble, Kevin Faulk, and for die hard old fans John Elway. This year is an exciting one as no doubt the masses of the world, or at least the masses of Americans In the United States Of America (that sounds redundant) are looking evermore to national sports games to drown out and phase out their worries about the economy and this disastrous recession we are living in.
So, what will this year’s kick ass fantasy football team for 2009 that maybe won’t require a cheat sheet, you ask? Well, the cheesiest way is to just stock up on stars, but of course that can be a problem because depending on the rules you have to adhere to for your particular fantasy football game, you can only stock up on so many star players. Now this is completely my opinion and I’m quite a noob novice when it comes to fantasy football, but I believe in what is called the “min / max” principle to playing and winning a game.
Min maxing is a video game term (or at least that’s where I always hear that term used) where you maximize whatever it is you want, usually a statistic or skill, and you minimize the rest so you free up “points” or “stats” or “slots” to dump into the statistic or skill you are maximizing. It’s called min maxing and it should work great for everybody’s fantasy football cheat sheet 2009.
Now, what would I minimize in the min max part of this formula for my fantasy football cheat sheet for 2009? Well, my play-style is to ignore as much as I can of both teams. Yes, that is right ignore. Hear me out. The basic goal of football is to score a goal or kick the football into the end. Since I’m a person that would heavily favor ranged type plays (throwing and kicking footballs), I would set up my team to have the maximum best chance of successfully kicking the ball. Yup that’s right, I’m going for the punt strategy. Basically with everybody able to throw and kick, the objective would be to make it to the 30 or 40 yard line and just punt the ball for an easy 3 points. You can ignore defense as you only have a few seconds for the quarterback to throw the ball before he gets sacked. Now the problem with this strategy is that maybe the receiver of the football will get hosed but that’s why you pick one player on your team, ideally two players, that are the best receivers. Then you have both receivers stay and spread the hell apart to divide the defense’s tacklers.
For defense it’s quite simply, just load up on big scary fast people. Speed is probably more important since you always want to tackle everybody quickly or ideally, intercept the ball. Melee type players will favor huge front end players who are trying to charge the opposing quarterback and go for the sack, but this is often a very difficult maneuver to attempt. When it comes to fantasy football cheat sheet 2009, all I can say is min max to your heart’s content.

As a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan, I was extremely disappointed with them last season, as the whole 2008 season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers just collapsed. Some will argue that the defense had given up and started to slack off once the defensive genius Monte Kiffin announced that he would be leaving the team to help his son coach college. Hopefully we will see a superbowl caliber team tonight when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers open up the 2009 pre-season against the Tennessee Titans. Read the full story

Mark Sanchez was the center of attention as he lined up as the Jets’ rookie quarterback- and then he dropped it! Not the ball fortunately – but his mouth guard!
I must admit to not be too familiar with the ins and out of football – but I know what first night nerves are all about! Mark Sanchez seems to as well – he completed the play he called with a 48-yard pass to David Clowney, a good start for his first NFL play.
It got me thinking about the pressure we put on our sportsmen and athletes With today’s long-zoom cameras and with many players playing with a mic turned on! There is nowhere to hide if something goes wrong – even if its totally irrelevant to the outcome of the game.
Its a bit like the outcry every time Michael Phelps does something a bit wrong hes front page news. To be honest anything a sportsman does outside of their sporting arena is really irrelevant and why anyone cares is beyond me.
But the intrusion has become even worse when we watch their every on field move. It appears that Mark Sanchez was surprised to be called onto the field at that particular time in the game. Maybe he hadn’t quite got his mouth guard in place before he made the call. Whatever why are the headlines all about the mouthguard rather than his impressive contribution to the Jets’ win?

Sorry Bobby Bowden, that’s all I can really say to you. That and you are quickly losing some of the respect I have for you, and I really do respect your coaching ability. You are a great coach and should have the dignity to accept the rules of the game. Your team got caught cheating and you suffered a penalty. That is what is supposed to happen to keep the game fair. Academic fraud should not be taken lightly. Your players engaged in it and you are paying the price. If you want to blame anyone, blame them! Read the full story

Michael Vick has signed with the Philadelphia Eagles? Yes, unfortunately it is official. Michael Vick has signed a 2 year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.  I’m not sure what they are going to pay him but no matter how much or how little it is Philadelphia is getting a bad deal. Michael Vick is over the hill and damaged goods, Philly has enough trouble at the QB position to add more issues and baggage.  I guess Philly just loves controversy. Michael Vick Buffalo Bills who would have thought from jail to getting back to the NFL. The question I have about the Michael Vick Buffalo Bills story is how bad in shape can the Buffalo Bills be when they are looking to get an over age over the hill ex-convict to become there lead quarterback. To think it was just a while back we where looking at what seemed to be the end of the career of Michael Vick as a professional football player and now in a matter of months he actually has the shot to get back to the pros with not only an NFL team but one like the Buffalo Bills a franchise full of history and prestige in the NFL again I do not know if to morn the franchise or to just say what a sad day it is for the NFL where a team needs to get an ex-convict like Michael Vick to fill a spot on there roster.
