Project Runway alumnus Jeffrey Sebelia rejoins the cast season 6 in the shows all-star challenge.
The ever-georgeous, multi-talented, Emmy-nominated host of Project Runway, Heidi Klum, was interviewed recently regarding Jeffrey Sebelia who was one of the most controversial winners in the shows history.
Project Runway, which used to be on the Bravo Network, was thought to have been cancelled but has been resurrected on the Lifetime network for season 6! Apparently, the show is going strong and Heidi revealed that season 7 has already been filed in New York as well! Kudos to the execs at Lifetime for recognizing that we simply don’t get enough Heidi Klum in our lives!
The shows new address might have spelled disaster for the show on another network but the executives at the Lifetime network wanted the show they loved and thankfully, didn’t want to make any changes. According to Heidi, regulars Michael Kors, Nina Garcia and Tim Gunn will all be returning as well.
This season, Heidi predicts that the girls will be the stand-out designers but was reluctant to reveal too much. I guess she did’nt want to let the cat out of the bag too soon, even it is a Gucci bag!
The previews revealed that Lindsay Lohan will be joining this season as a guest judge.
Lindsay Lohan? Really? What the hell does Lindsay Lohan know about fashion?
At any rate, now that the show is an established hit, it will become much easier for them to get some REAL celebrities, including some of the giants of the fashion industry, to make appearances on the show.
Joining Jeffrey Sebelian and returning for what promises to be a drama-filled 6th season, will be Nicholas Putvinski, aside from Jeffery Sebelia are Santino, Korto, Daniel Vosovic and Sweet P. among others.
In addition to the returning favorites, other contestants include Shirin Askari, a 24 year old Texan, and Louse Black, a 32 year old designer who is also from Texas.
When asked about the return of Jeffery Sebelia, the lovely Ms. Klum compared him to Joe Dirt saying that he kind of resembled the David Spade character.
In addition to Project Runway, Ms. Klum is going to be doing a new show “Models of the Runway” this season. It’s a half hour show just about the girls and how they inspire the designers and serve as their muses.
To replace Project Runway, Bravo will be launching a new show called “The Fashion Show” which will SUCK, since Heidi Klum won’t be on it. Personally, I hope The Fashion Show tanks and Project runway reigns supreme!
