Lance Migliaccio is potentially freed on bond as Federal prosecutors try to appeal a judge magistrate over his decision. At center here is that the Judge Michael Hegarty granted Migliaccio a $50,000 bond, although a hearing is set for August 24, it appears that the Government is trying to mount a huge case against Migliaccio as he is suspected of perpetrating a much larger than life organized crime.
The Government states that communities should be leery of this known drug dealer as he is known to deal in heroin as well as building up a large collection of military type weapons and explosives. Can you say Timothy McVeigh?? No maybe worse, Timothy McVeigh on Heroin and Ecstasy.
The potential risk to human life is what is at question here. Why would you let a known criminal out of jail for any amount of money when the potential to create more crime is always there? What lessons does this teach criminals around the country. That if you commit crimes you may always have a chance to get out with the right lawyers and money?
When an expert criminal like Lance Migliaccio is able to easily obtain military weapons and explosives wouldn’t that be a sign that something is wrong with this picture? Wake up Judge Michael Hegarty!!!
